Three of us afloat in the meadow by the swing, Three of us abroad in the basket on the lea. Winds are in the air, they are blowing in the spring, And waves are on the meadow like the waves there are at sea. Where shall we adventure, to-day that we're afloat, Wary of the weather and steering by a star? Shall it be to Africa, a-steering of the boat, To Providence, or Babylon or off to Malabar? Hi! but here's a squadron a-rowing on the sea-- Cattle on the meadow a-charging with a roar! Quick, and we'll escape them, they're as mad as they can be, The wicket is the harbour and the garden is the shore. You have adorable kids Julie! How proud you must be of them already :)
Your kids are adorable! My little 4yo nephew is the same way with cars - he knows the make and model of almost every car he sees, toy or real. It's fantastic what little kids like to latch onto when they're young.
i love that picture with the jellyfishes!!
@UshaThank you! They're definitely growing up into such fun little people.
@Lisa - respect the shoesMy oldest's mind is so fascinating. She always keeps me on my toes. I used to be into bugs and horses (random) when I was young, so it's great to see how she loves science so much.
@missfernie That's definitely one of my favorite pics of RT. BTW, see you tomorrow!!!
For some reason, I'm reading them as Left Twin and Right Twin. But surely that can't be right ... or left.
@ChaEsqClose, but no. Congrats on finishing your house stuff, BTW!
